April 21, 2016 | On May 18, 2016 Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County will host its annual benefit, “Toast to Success” in support of its mission to empower women to achieve economic independence. Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County invites all to a fun-filled spring evening at The Westport Inn. “Toast to Success” raises awareness of the challenges facing low income women and the role that fashion can play in building confidence and helping women overcome the obstacles of unemployment. At this event, fashion, community and corporate sectors come together to support the unique work of Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County.
The event is being made possible by the generous support of a number of local businesses. The fashion show will include selections from Talbots and Darien Sport Shop. Guests will enjoy a variety of wines courtesy of BevMax. Corporate sponsors for the evening include; Connecticut Community Bank, Xerox, Bic, Aquarion Water Company, Frontier Communications, MPI, People’s United Bank and Bigelow Tea.
Dress for Success empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since we opened our doors in June 2009, we have helped thousands of women move towards self-sufficiency by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home and community.
