Bridgeport, CT – July 21, 2025 — The WorkPlace is proud to announce the statewide expansion of its Platform to Employment Youth (P2EY) program, a proven workforce development initiative that connects Connecticut’s opportunity youth—young adults who are not in school and not employed—with education, career training, and sustainable employment opportunities.
This major expansion is made possible by a generous $1.5 million grant from the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting education, workforce readiness, and economic empowerment.
By extending the reach of P2EY across Connecticut, The WorkPlace aims to provide critical support to underserved youth populations, help bridge employment gaps, and build a stronger, more inclusive workforce.
