Roundtable Discussion Partnered with AARP CT

The WorkPlace is partnering with AARP Connecticut to host two roundtable discussions with long-term unemployed mature workers. Having managed the state-wide Platform to Employment (P2E) program since 2011, we see the growing number of long-term unemployed are over 50 years of age. These conversations will be facilitated by Joseph Carbone, President & CEE, The WorkPlace and Nora Duncan, State Director, AARP Connecticut. Join us as the focus will be the skills gap, how mature workers can be a valuable resource for employers and the challenges older workers face connecting with employment opportunities
