Join us on October 21 at 12 p.m for a virtual workshop led by Carrie Picardi, Ph.D., on creating a stand-out cover letter and then developing impressive questions that will make for a memorable interview. Workshop presenter Carrie Picardi, Ph.D., is an industrial/organizational psychologist with over 20 years of professional experience in corporate human resources, consulting, and academia. Presently, Dr. Picardi is an Associate Professor of Management for the University of Bridgeport’s Ernest C. Trefz School of Business where she led the creation of the HR-MBA program and the installation of UB’s SHRM Student Chapter. Carrie is the author of two positively reviewed books, her most recent entitled ‘Recruitment and Selection: Strategies for Workforce Planning and Assessment’ (Sage Publications, 2019). Outside of academia, Carrie also serves on the Board of Directors for the Urban League of Southern Connecticut.
