Receptionist. Provides clerical and office support to agency personnel, organizational committees, subcommittees, and task forces to ensure the efficient and effective provision of information and community services by performing the following duties.

SWFI Child Care Concierge. The Child Care Concierge will successfully provide participants in the Strengthening Working Families Initiative (SWFI) with comprehensive child care information including locations, availability, hours of operation as well as cost and assistance. The Child Care Concierge will present SWFI information to potential enrollees throughout the region. The Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist is responsible for gathering documentation to verify eligibility, arranging remedial and/or college readiness services and the completion of the enrollment process including file preparation and data entry of enrollment information. The Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the preparation and presentation of the candidates for the interview process.

HCA, Eligibility Specialist. The Eligibility Specialist will facilitate information sessions to disseminate accurate information regarding the requirements to apply for WIOA-funded services. The Eligibility Specialist will collect required documentation, verify compliance with WIOA requirements, and complete the WIOA application.

Open Positions in Connecticut

Employer Relations Specialist. The Employer Relations Specialist will provide guidance, counseling, support and other employment related services to Platform to Employment program participants. The position will establish and maintain activities to develop and secure job openings with local employers, market the program and coordinate participant job placement activity with the P2E Program Career Coach. The Employer Relations Specialist will establish relationships with employers and businesses, promoting the services provided by the program.

Open Positions in New Bedford, Massachusetts

Business Services RepresentativeThe Business Services Representative will prospect for potential new business clients and turn this into increased opportunity for program participants. The position will establish and perform activities to develop and secure job interviews, placements, on the job training and/or internship opportunities with employers and facilitate participant employer connections. The Business Services Representative will design and guide strategies to establish and maintain relationships with employers and promote the services provided by the Career Center.

Career CounselorA Career Counselor must successfully provide comprehensive case management to assigned individuals, some with multiple barriers to employment, utilizing various career assessment, planning and related tools and activities. A Career Counselor will work collaboratively with the Career Advisor and Business Services staff assisting in arranging for interviews; monitor participant performance throughout workforce programs and counsels participants so that all programmatic metrics are successfully met. This position will assist training instructors in the collection of program materials; refer qualified participants to employers and conduct necessary follow-up.

Open Positions in Massachusetts (Cambridge, Chelsea or Woburn)

The position will establish and perform activities to develop and secure job interviews, placements, on the job training and/or internship opportunities with employers and facilitate participant employer connections. The Business Services position will design and guide strategies to establish and maintain relationships with employers and promote the services provided by the Career Center.
