Welcome Aboard to the American Job Center Career Coach, your mobile career resource lab!

We have a new state-of-the art Career Coach which will be servicing many jobseekers on the spot in the Southwestern Connecticut region. It is a one-stop shop on wheels and mobile classroom which brings career services and computer training to you!

The American Job Center Career Coach makes weekly visits to cities and towns in coordination with community organizations such as public housing authorities, libraries, community centers, and churches. When you step aboard the Career Coach, you are greeted by expert staff and seated at one of ten (10) computer workstations. Come aboard and use our high speed Internet access, and print resources at no cost to you!

  • Job Search Assistance
  • Computer Training: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Resume Workshop, Social Networking

  • 42” interior Plasma TV with Smart Board Overlay (allows instructor to control PC from plasma)
  • A dedicated server for quick response time
  • Private interview room
