Mission: Getting to Next

Powering Women Through Career Transitioning

MISSION: GETTING TO NEXT harnesses the collective leadership of both civilian and military women

MISSION: GETTING TO NEXT (MGTN) is a career transition program widely recognized as the essential first step for women in leadership and senior executive positions in the private, public, not-for-profit and military sectors.

MGTN is based on Carole Hyatt’s Leadership Forum’s seminar “GETTING TO NEXT,” which has helped thousands of women – and men – triumph over difficult transition periods. With a 40-year track record of success, Carole Hyatt has coached people on four continents teaching them how to articulate new goals and, ultimately, reach their aspirations. Carole Hyatt is a renowned leader in her field, best-selling author, successful business pioneer, educator and executive coach. MGTN is built on proprietary exercises based on documented educational theory, yet implemented in a simple and direct way.

The goal of MGTN is to help women seamlessly transition into new leadership opportunities and professionally contribute to a stronger and more sustainable American economy. To date, the response to MGTN has surpassed expectations.

The program takes place over two-and-a-half days, where an experienced trainer leads 12 professional civilian women and 12 military officers as they explore their core competencies, personal goals and career possibilities. Participants are exposed to new possibilities through exchanges of ideas, previously unexpressed hopes, dreams, passions and aspirations. They work through the process of defining their new purpose and individually identifying economically viable future careers.
