Public job training funds do not meet all the needs. The WorkPlace looks for private investment in the state’s workforce, and finds ways to leverage these private contributions and grants. Private contributions enable us to serve more people and to create innovative new programs to meet changing needs.

Private funds are used for:

  • Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County for professional attire and career services
  • WorkPlace Scholarships for job training resources for adults and youth
  • CareerConnections-CT.com, a college and career resource for youth
  • Platform to Employment to assist the long-term unemployed and those who have exhausted their benefits
  • Specialized workforce development programs

Contributions can be made to support these programs or other areas of specific interest, or to add to our endowment fund.

If you would like more information about how you and The WorkPlace can work together to build a stronger workforce, please contact us.
