CareerConnections-CT.com is a one-stop website source that provides timely, up-to-date information to Bridgeport youth, parents,

guidance and career counselors and employers regarding post-secondary options and opportunities for work experience. It is an online

tool helping youth make informed decisions about school, work and life by providing information and resources that would help them to

make better decisions. In addition, while providing information to youth, it also provides a platform for innovative partnerships between

employers and school systems, which work together to provide paid/non-paid internships, mentorship and work experience

opportunities.

In addition to providing information for Bridgeport high school students, it is the goal of Career Connections to expand its program to also serve students in Norwalk/Stamford and the Valley towns of Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton.

In 2008, Career Connections sponsored a free web development camp for high school students living in the Valley. The camp introduced students to technology skills used in creating websites.
